Ligament system for corection and stabilisation

Description

The device NAJA is an implant dedicated to the correction and stabilization of the spine during fusion of the instrumented levels. It consists of:

. A braid allowing correction and stabilization of the levels, after tensioning

. A connector designed to be fixed on a rod and holding the tension on the braid

Because of its conception, and in order to obtain symmetric constructions, two versions are available for each size of the implant: one for the left size, one for the right side.

Indications

The NAJA System is a temporary implant for use in orthopedic surgery. The system is intended to provide temporary stabilization as a bone anchor during the development of solid bony fusion and aid in the repair of bone fractures. The indications for use include the following applications:

. Spinal trauma surgery, used in sublaminar or facet wiring techniques.

. Spinal reconstructive surgery, incorporated into constructs for the purpose of correction of spinal deformities such as 

  idiopathic and neuromuscular scoliosis, kyphosis and spondylolisthesis in paediatric population from 8 years old.

. Spinal degenerative surgery, as an adjunct to spinal fusions.
